About the event

What if you could love books again, without the guilt of the unread stack?

Welcome to The Reading Room, a monthly salon-style gathering for the intellectually curious who are short on time. We explore one powerful book each session. Here’s the twist: we do the reading for you.

Each month, we curate the context, unearth the most beautiful or surprising passages, and unpack what makes the book such a compelling read. You bring your curiosity; we provide the insights and lead the conversation. No homework. No guilt. Just a rich, guided discussion that connects timeless literature to today's conversations.

This month, we will be discussing Jenny Odell's book, 'How to Do Nothing,'  a book that takes readers on a journey while exploring what it means to find meaning in our existence.

In The Reading Room, you will:

  • Gain fascinating literary and historical context without the 10-hour read.
