Thosaigh redrosethorns mar shiopa ar líne a dhíolann coinnle doirteadh de láimh, ag tosú in 2020. Ba é an sprioc a bhí againn sa deireadh ná spás a chruthú ina bhféadfaimis daoine eile a chumhachtú trí oideachas ar shaincheisteanna amhail meabhairshláinte, cleachtais féinchúraim, agus inscne/gnéasacht. Creidimid sa chomhionannas agus tuigimid go bhfuil castachtaí sochaíocha ann a choinníonn siar sinn agus a choinníonn roinnte agus faoi cheannas córas patriarchach sinn. Creidimid go bhfuil bealach amháin chun dul ar aghaidh agus briseadh na slabhraí seo, trí oideachas, feasacht, féin-leighis, agus pobail.

Agus an misean seo á chur san áireamh, cuireann redrosethorns seirbhísí cóitseála ar fáil, ag baint úsáide as teicníochtaí teiripe chognaíoch iompraíochta (CBT) chun daoine aonair a mhúineadh conas nascadh lena gcroí féin, agus cuirimid ceardlanna ar fáil ar chleachtais féinchúraim chun a bhféinfhiúntas a mhéadú. Cuirimid deiseanna foilsitheoireachta ar fáil freisin - trínár n-irisleabhar bliantúil agus dár n-irisleabhar ar líne - chun daoine a spreagadh chun a nglór a chur in iúl. Is iad na scéalta atá againn ná na rudaí a cheanglaíonn sinn, ach freisin a chuireann ar ár gcumas bogadh isteach i dtreo atá níos ailínithe le cé muid féin, lenár luachanna agus lenár paisin. Is tríd seo is féidir linn tosú ar an patriarchacht, duine cumasaithe amháin, agus pobail chumhachtaithe a dhíchóimeáil ag an am céanna.

In honour of International Women's Day 2023, Kirsty Anne Richards was invited by the Worshipful Company of World Traders to discuss the topic 'Women Who Change the World.' Throughout history, women have made significant strides in this endeavour, yet there remains much ground to cover. Kirsty Anne explored the nexus between bolstering one's mental well-being and fostering inclusivity across all genders as pivotal components in the march toward societal progress.

She spoke about her personal struggles with imposter syndrome, strongly influenced by society's pervasive gender double standards, and shared her triumph over these internal challenges, ultimately achieving success. Furthermore, Kirsty Anne shed light on the misconception that feminism is often framed as solely a women's issue when, in reality, patriarchal norms adversely affect all genders.
