redrosethorns Press

At redrosethorns, our mission has always been clear: to harness feminism as a powerful force for empowerment, creating spaces and platforms where voices are found, stories are shared, and repressive systems are dismantled.

redrosethorns press is the natural extension of this work. As a small press, we are intentionally selective and will only publish one book at a time. This allows us to pour our full energy and passion into every project, ensuring each story we champion is not just published, but thoughtfully nurtured to life. We are building a curated library for a more equitable world, not a crowded bookstore.

Our First Cultivated Story:

To Be (a Woman) by Rachel Turney

We are thrilled and proud to introduce the very first book to bear the redrosethorns press colophon: To Be (a Woman), by Rachel Turney.

To Be (a Woman) is a poetry collection that examines womanhood through the past, the workplace, relationships, mental health, global travel, and metaphor. Poetry, nonfiction, and storytelling come together in a compelling journey of self-discovery and self-love.

This book was the undeniable choice for our debut, as it embodies the same commitment to examining societal expectations, identity, and mental health. We believe that art and literature hold power in empowering others to build on their self-worth and speak up about issues they face in their day-to-day lives.

Release Date: Spring 2026

Dr. Rachel Turney, an accomplished author who has been featured in dozens of acclaimed publications, takes a critical eye to the state of womanhood in society. Her perspective is shaped by her time working in higher education, as a global citizen, and as a woman navigating expectations juxtaposed with her reality.

Our Next Vital Voice:

The Rose Temple by Christin Marie

We are thrilled to announce the second book to join the redrosethorns press: The Rose Temple, by Christin Marie.

The Rose Temple is a radiant feminist romantasy novelette, set against the backdrop of a Bronze Age Aegean society centred on goddess worship. It follows a priestess's transformative journey from sacred duty, through forbidden passion and heartbreak, to a reclaimed life of authentic desire and self-created purpose.

This work was a compelling and essential choice for our bookshelf. It masterfully reclaims a historical narrative to explore timeless themes of autonomy, sacred femininity, and the courage to choose one's own path. At its heart, the story aligns perfectly with our mission: it is a profound exploration of breaking from prescribed roles to forge an authentic self, echoing the personal and collective liberation we seek to champion through all our publications.

Release Date: Autumn/Fall 2026

Christin Marie is a Florida native and London-based novelist, poet, and blogger whose work weaves mysticism, ancient Greek historical myth, and the inner landscapes of the heart into sensory-driven prose. Her poetry is a textured, lyrical exploration of love, longing, spirituality, and transformation. She's the creator of the e-course Radiant Quill: Living and Writing in Your Essence, which helps writers and creatives cultivate a sustainable, soul-led creative flow. The Rose Temple is her debut romantasy novelette, inviting readers into a richly imagined world where devotion, desire, and destiny converge.
