Thorn & Bloom Magazine Issue 03: The Splinters We Carry

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your order. However, because print magazines are a perishable and non-digital product, we have a strict returns policy detailed below.

1. Damaged Items (Accepted for Return)

We accept returns and offer full refunds only for print magazines that arrive damaged.

• To be eligible for a return, you must notify us and ship the damaged item back to us within 14 days of the delivery date.

• Please note: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item.

• Once we receive the returned damaged item and inspect it, we will process your refund to your original method of payment.

2. Change of Mind / Personal Preference (Not Accepted)

We do not accept returns or provide refunds simply because you change your mind or do not like the magazine.

• As magazine content is a matter of personal taste, we are unable to offer refunds based on subjective dissatisfaction with the articles, design, or content.

3. How to Return a Damaged Item

To start a return for a damaged magazine, please contact our customer service team at contact@redrosethorns.com.

Please include your order number and photographs of the damage. We will then provide you with the return address and any further instructions. Remember, you will be responsible for covering the cost of return postage.

4. Refunds

• After we receive your returned damaged item, we will send you an email to notify you.

• We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

• If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days (e.g., 5-10 business days).

For any other issues with your order, such as receiving the wrong item, please contact us at contact@redrosethorns.com. We are happy to help resolve any problems.

Thank you for your interest in our products! To provide the best service and global reach, we partner with Lulu, a leading print-on-demand and distribution platform. This means your order is printed specifically for you, which is efficient and reduces waste.

All orders are processed and shipped directly by Lulu on our behalf, but all customer service inquiries must be directed to us.

How It Works

• You Place an Order: You purchase directly through our website.

• We Send it to Print: Your order is sent to Lulu's global network of printing facilities (located in France, India, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States) to be professionally printed and bound.

• You Get a Tracking Email: Once your item has been printed and is packaged for delivery, we will automatically send you a shipment notification email with your tracking information. All shipping updates will come directly from us.

• It Arrives at Your Door: Your book or magazine is shipped directly to you.

Production & Shipping Timelines

• Production: Normal production (printing and binding) takes 3-5 business days. 

• Courier Selection: We use standard shipping for all orders. To provide the most affordable delivery rates, our partner Lulu automatically selects the courier company (such as USPS, FedEx, DHL, or local postal services) best suited for your location. 

• Shipping: Lulu ships to over 130 countries worldwide. Once shipped, delivery times will depend on your location. 

Possible Delays & Important Shipping Information

Please be aware that the following issues are outside of our control and may cause delays. Orders affected by these factors may take up to 6 weeks to arrive.

• Address Issues: Orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout will be significantly delayed.

• International Customs: All international shipments are subject to customs clearance. Any customs duties, import taxes, or VAT fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. (For more information on VAT, click here.) We cannot be held liable for these charges, nor for delays caused by customs inspections.

• Force Majeure: Events such as natural disasters, severe weather, or other delivery restrictions can disrupt shipping networks.

Special Shipping Instructions

• P.O. Boxes (US only): Orders shipping to a U.S. P.O. Box will use USPS shipping. FedEx services cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.

• Military & Diplomatic Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): Shipments to these addresses must use the US Postal Service. To ensure this, select "United States" as the country during checkout. Please allow for additional transit times to these locations, including Hawaii, Alaska, and other U.S. territories.

Our Policy on Delayed Orders

We rely on our shipping partner to fulfil orders. For orders experiencing delays:

• Traceable Shipping: For orders with tracking, we will help you monitor the shipment and open an investigation with the carrier if it is lost.

• Untraceable Mail: For orders shipped via untraceable methods that do not arrive within 28 days, we will work with our partner to request a replacement. Please note that only one replacement is typically offered for orders using untraceable mail.

While Lulu ships to most countries, we currently DO NOT SHIP to the following locations:

• Belarus

• Region of Crimea

• Cuba

• Iran

• Israel

• Johnston Island

• North Korea

• Russia

• Saint Pierre Et Miquelon

• South Sudan

• Sudan

• Syria

• Republic Of Turkmenistan 

• Ukraine

• Wake Islands

• Yemen Arab Republic

• Venezuela

Please Note: If an order is placed from Israel or Afghanistan, it will be cancelled automatically, and a full refund will be issued.
