📖About this edition:
This issue explores the past as it lives in the stories we tell, the wounds we carry, and the patterns we are still learning to break. Through poetry and prose, this edition invites you to explore the things that have made you who you are.

We are honoured to feature Bill Nwonwu, who wrote an essay, ‘What We Carry Forward’, on the lessons we have learned and all that we need to unlearn for our future by reflecting back on our past.

📇 Meet the Author:
“Bill Nwonwu is an Indian Nigerian writer and poet. His essay What the Ugba Tree Remembers appeared in the Lọ́unlọ́un literary journal. He is the author of The Poor Orphan, he was shortlisted for the Welkin Writing Prize 2026 and was highly commended in the Erbacce Poetry Competition 2026. He also won the graphic comic category division for the Geek Partnership Writing Contest 2026.”
