bristles with

clematis    prolific

claiming the old woods

as harbinger of

 

the coming din

that releases    space

or swings into

 

the verdant grief    stained

 

leather boot songs

of light    the widow notices

 

white then red

toward warmth    sighs

 

celebrates

my hands are feathers
