Purgatory

by Duane Anderson

Shadow of leaves on dark wooden planks, illuminated by a soft blue light, creating a mysterious and serene atmosphere.

I am here,

then I am not,

there is silence,

then it is gone,

my mind,

constantly talking,

refusing to be quiet,

so here I sit,

standing by in purgatory,

awaiting further instructions.
